Today I decided to head out on the road bike and ride along Hwy 101. Its a pretty flat ride and its hard to get into a rhythm with the stop signs but you cant beat the scenery. I am really hoping to have my mountain bike done by the beginning of next week as im waiting on the bolt that goes through the frame that connects the chain stay to the frame. Hopefully I can get a few rides in next week.
I ended up with 35 miles and rode at a pretty good pace despite the stop signs. On my way back from Oceanside a pro team was out for there ride and I tried staying with them, which didnt work out as my stamina at 28 mph is lacking. I doubt they were even pushing hard.
