Yosemite

Since the gas was free on our trip I was looking at some side trips to do on the drive back from San Francisco and decided too make a detour to Yosemite National Park.  It would add a few hours onto the drive but I knew it would be worth it.

It took us 3 hours and a hissy fit from Sarah until we arrived.  She was fine once we got there and seemed to enjoy herself.  I wish we had more time to explore as all we had time for was a 4 mile hike and some exploring from the side of the road.  I was amazed how crowded it was and even more amazed that once you actually hiked a few hundred yards how the people thinned out.  It shows how lazy many people are.  We got to see the famous attractions like El Capitan but didnt make it out to half dome, maybe some other time.

The rest of the drive was long and boring through the Grape Vine.  It was nice to stop at In -n- Out though and get some dinner.  Its one of the things I miss when at school in Louisiana.
